An explanation which is even more obscure than the thing it purports to explain. (<a href=\"http:\/\/chronicle.com\/article\/Death-by-Irony-How-Librarians\/125767\/\">link<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h4>The International Space Station in front of the moon<\/h4>\n<p>Thierry Legault is the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me in astrophotography of man-made objects backlit by the sun and moon. He took the photo at the top of this post. His game is figuring out where to be and when, setting up, and then taking photos at a rate of about 3 shots per second. Many of his windows of opportunity are as little as 0.5 seconds.
