They pointed out this handy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:17827\">iPhone-to-Microscope mount iPhone case<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From the pictures, it looks like the prototype was printed on a Makerbot, which isn&#8217;t terribly high resolution as 3D printing goes. Hopefully the files can be printed as-is by Quickparts, Shapeworks, or Ponoko and still fit correctly. I double check the measurements, particularly for the eye pieces, before I sent this out. Regardless, this is a great idea.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, there&#8217;s also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weasner.com\/etx\/reviews\/2011\/mx-1_iphone_adapter\/mx-1_iphone_adapter.html\">this similar device<\/a>. It&#8217;s not as elegant as the above iphone case, but it a bit more flexible and should work with an array of different eye piece sizes.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/labrigger.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/alt.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"alt\" width=\"601\" height=\"293\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2109\" srcset=\"http:\/\/labrigger.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/alt.png 601w, http:\/\/labrigger.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/alt-300x146.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the best-looking one right now is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skylightscope.com\/\">SkyLight<\/a>, which was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/190596902\/the-skylight-a-smartphone-to-microscope-adapter\">funded via Kickstarter<\/a> in January.
