This is handy for precisely applying agar, dental acrylic, or other materials.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve used these for years, and always cut the fat end off with a plain razor blade, which is at least as dangerous as it sounds. I didn&#8217;t mind myself, but now that there are people working for me, I care about their safety, and I don&#8217;t like training them to do something so unsafe.<\/p>\n<p>I was in a pet store and noticed these dog nail trimmers (below) and thought I&#8217;d try them.
