SLAB is moving to UCSB
SLAB is moving to the University of California Santa Barbara this fall. UCSB is a great match for what SLAB has evolved into: about half neuroengineering and half neuroscience. The lab will be surrounded by one of the best engineering communities in the world (e.g., three Nobels, dozens of National Academy members) and an excellent neuroscience community.
Moreover, campus-wide, they have (and are recruiting) neuro-focused faculty, centered around the UCSB Brain Initiative: from physics, to computer science, to biology, and engineering.
SLAB is hiring postdocs, graduate students, engineers, and researchers. Let us know if you’re interested.
We will be housed in the brand new Bioengineering building, in the center of the campus, which is bordered on three sides by the Pacific Ocean.
Exciting! Good luck, and we are all looking forward to visiting you in California:)
We’re looking forward to hosting you all!
It’s official! We’re all looking forward to having you on campus!
That building looks fabulous, wishing you all the very best! Graham
