Idex CVI Melles Griot

Acquisition news. In May 2007, CVI bought Melles Griot for $60 million. CVI was itself owned by Norwest Equity Partners. The new CVI Melles Griot then promptly bought Coherent Imaging Systems. Now Norwest is selling CVI Melles Griot to Idex for $400 million.

BTW, Idex already owns Semrock (since 2008) and ATFilms (since just a few months ago). And the Jaws of Life brand, which explains the accompanying image.
