Bruker buys Prairie

You might recognize the Bruker brand from their small animal MRI machines. It’s a decently large company (market cap $3.4B).

They just bought Prairie Technologies, the Madison, WI-based manufacturer of multiphoton microscopes ($11M in 2012 revenue). They’ll continue to operate normally, with Mike Szulczewski in charge, as usual.
