Barrels XXVII

The focus of the Barrels XXVII meeting is still very much on barrel cortex, but they’re generously permitting a bit of visual cortex work to be presented. Here’s more information (pdf link-but the reg link in the pdf is wrong), and a registration link. Early registration closes soon (it costs an extra $50 after Aug 1).

With this, the 27th iteration, the Barrels meetings are one of the oldest still-running satellite meetings (do any others come close?) of the Society for Neuroscience’s Annual Meetings, which started in the early 1970s.
