Preprints and the wide field of view 2-photon
Posted in Uncategorized
The preprint for the wide field of view 2-photon system we built has been updated. Check it out at bioRxiv.org.
Preprint servers are a great way to share work-in-progress. ArXiv and bioRxiv are two popular ones. Review cycles can take a very long time, and even after acceptance it can take a long time before it appears in print. Fortunately, most publishers (including Nature, Science, Cell, etc.) allow posting of manuscripts to preprint servers. These preprints can be revised as well. And when the final version is accepted, the preprint server then points to the accepted version of the manuscript.
I predict that this will be the final Labrigger blog topic.
why? Because Spencer has a new baby! Congrats!!
A reasonable prediction. Taking care of a newborn human is very time consuming. But I’ll keep posting from time to time as long as it’s useful to me and others.
Congratulations!!!
cheers, dsp
Thanks, D!
