The Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, UCL, is recruiting an in vivo multiphoton specialist who will be based in the Advanced Microscopy Facility but work throughout the Centre. This staff scientist role will provide researchers with hardware and software support for a dozen multi-photon microscopes spread across multiple research labs. Most microscopes are custom-built in-house and you will be responsible for their maintenance and upgrades. In addition you will be standardising software and protocols across rigs, writing software tools to streamline imaging workflows, training users in best practice, contributing to experimental design, and assisting in the early stages of analysis.
