ZappyLab Kickstarter: 1 week left!
This is exactly up the alley of what Labrigger is interested in supporting. There’s just one week left in their Kickstarter campaign. As of this writing, 300 people have contributed $30,000. With one final push this last week, they’ll meet their goal.
They want to crowd source experimental protocols to increase efficiency and productivity. This is a promising approach for histology and molecular biology experiments in particular, and Labrigger hopes they find success.
They make nice apps. Some are more complex, others are very simple and effective, like this one:
They’re free, by the way, and they cover iOS, Android, and Amazon. Check them out if you’re interested.
ZappyLab has an interesting backstory. There’s a lot of potential for this effort to take root, but there needs to be support from the community– that’s you.
Ultimately they want to make money. But they want to make money like Google. That is, while providing free services. The entire repository will remain freely available.
