Very nice! I, too, have designed an open-source syringe pump:

Mine does a few things nicer: bidirectionality, fast loading of syringes, and it has a user interface.
But theirs is great too: it costs less, the drive system’s nice, and using a Raspberry Pi gets a lot of cool points.
Both projects are open source, so, everybody wins!
